F2WF14 - 12 Days to go..... Raceweek 28 - time to rock

Yes, yes, we're all getting excited especially as there are numerous World titles coming to the fore, which means.....  yup you guessed it, its 12 days to go folks!

MARSHALL MARVELLOUS AT SKEG

19 cars at a midweek summer special at the Fun Coast, and a few new names took to the track. After both heats went the way of local Andrew Spence (557), the final went the way of Jak Marshall (199) who will be red for September. A blue top lock out of the winner's circle saw a GN win for Jimmy The Wriggle (527)

COWDIE HOWIE AT DOUBLE BUT MOODIE TAKES THE FINAL

14 days to go at this year's golden jamboree, and 17 drivers took to the track including shale superstar Michael Lund (995) on a bit of a recce. Another Cowdenbeath heat and final double for the Moodster, it was Kieran Howie (679) that had many take notice, with the second heat and Grand National going his way.

AND ALSO AT CRIMOND TOO...

Stuart Fenty
Meanwhile, up in the far north of Scotland, where even the cows wear jumpers, a rare visit for his Gordyness saw him take on the natives and taking both heats and the final. Robbie Dawson (854) took the National.

ANDY HANDY AT SUNDAY SHEFFIELD

Back to the real world of shale shifting for the more familiar as the Steel City played host to Brisca's most southerly meeting (to be honest if Knockhill was still running that would have been!). Sam Wagner took heat 1, however he had to bridesmaid to Rob Mitchell (905) in heat 2. If he was bridesmaid, Samuel was relegated to a mere usher as he followed home in 3rd as Andrew Palmer (606) who took the win in the final, with Mitchell second. Gary Ford (26) won the GN, with Wagner was shafted by a busted shaft, however still made it to the church, but sat a fair way back in the church between Uncle Nobhead and Aunt Gladys. That alright for you Samuel?

POINTS OF ORDER

Congratulations to the new Saloon Stock Car World Champion - David Aldous (499) who takes the title for the 4th time, and becomes the most successful World Champion. In a race which many described as fairly "going through the motions"Aldous hit the front early on and stayed there.

Busy, busy, busy.....
