Dominator Standings - End of March

And here we go again..... So from the table, Chris Bradbury (886) is starting to pull away. He has been the top "top scorer". Top Scoring at the quieter meetings were Neil Hooper (676) and Gordon Moodie (7). Incidently, Moodie's choice to do King's Lynn may not have been fruitful in regards to the national points, but besides getting some practice in the quest for that 2nd gold roof, his dominator points for scoring 1 national point was actually higher than his top scores for Barford (27/3/11) and Cowdenbeath (19/3/11). You gotta beat 'em all. 174 drivers have scored points so far.

It's Pringle Time....

Ok it's time for another update on the Pringle Update on this week 4 of the season

Eagerness to "get on" was definately prevalent at St Day, where two new entries came in. Also at Brum, we had a contender for dodgiest jump of the season so far.....

The current standings.....

886 Chris Bradbury (Kings Lynn 5/3/11 and Taunton 6/3/11)
605 Liam Rowe (Taunton 20/3/11)
126 Jamie Avery (Taunton 20/3/11)
830 Andrew Bennett (St Day 27/3/11)
921 Jack Aldridge (St Day 27/3/11)
710 Brett Townsend (Brum 26/3/11)

and there might be more once the results from Cowdie and Barford come in!

Spongecam !

Birmingham Wheels 26th March 2011 - the fourth one in a row. Another strange format, but no sign of fatigue from the drivers...no sign of a numb brum here.

Heat 1 doubled up as the "Speed Weeks Final" - yeah, I didn't understand it either...

Heat 2

Heat 3 - look out for some big hits on this one...

Final - Milky Bar Kid Nigel Green takes the win (445)

So after a busy weekend of racing , including another qualifying round, and Bradders (886) has pulled away. A new entry already is His Gordyness (7) at 46 off 2 meetings, however, if he had topscored at Brum and not Cowdie he would have been in the top 30. Neil Hooper (676) has top scored for the second Taunton in a row, and certainly looks the most dominant westcountry driver at westcountry tracks. Lets see the usually random St Day throws up next weekend. Also, we welcome 2 lasses into the dominator series. Holly Glen (321) and Emma Mellis (621) are the first girls to register a score. What is the female equivalent of a dominator, is that a domantrix? Oooh matron, I've come over all Rhianna, Sticks and stones may break my bones, but secondary fixing chains excite me!
