Inspired by the musings of powerful elderly midget, Bernie Ecclestone (not Billy Batten ), who to liven up Formula 1 has had some mad cap and slightly bonkers ideas. However the medal idea that he had after Lewis won the title to liven things up a bit.
I've taken the medal idea and awarded a gold to the top scorer, a silver to the 2nd and a bronze to the 3rd highest.....
This table looks a fairer reflection on winners...
