GMP were happy with the new grandstand for people who have been to Lochgelly |
20 days to season start and well, lets get ready to rumble!
Off to the North East we go, and one time official spokesman for the Barford promotion, Charlie Whitfield's (301) shale shifter. Resplendent in gold, it looks as though Charles is looking to make sure that the gold roof comes with, for a spot of home track glory.
Up to bonnie Scotland, and to Lee Clark (819) who is a member of the McTart racing clan. I'm led to beleive that this chap is a novice, and I'm sure he'll do well, with the support of the sassenach TARTs, he'll be do south before there's independence!
Next up, in a less of a state of readiness is Ryan Catell (904). This too is his shale beast, with an RCE and his dad Andy happily retired, a concerted effort should see young Ryan get up the grades
Now considering this chap doesn't turn 16 til July, this might be a bit keen, but Autospeed Ministox Points Champion Ryan Hoskin (991) is keen to make an impression like former winners Chris Cuming (ex393) and Rob Batten (ex467). He has the ex Chris Mikkula (522) Randall that he raced with last year. Complete in Steve Hoskin Construction colours, if you live in South East Cornwall you cannot fail to notice their vans and machinery with the blue stripe. Ryan is certainly looking to set out his stall early doors, with plenty of practice laps, he will be a force in the westcountry.
Certainly the best artwork so far this year comes from Luke Wrench (560). The dragon on the bonnet proves that this beast is ready to rock n roll....
In the news, Neil Hooper's 2011 Harding has ended up in the hands of former stock rod and bangerstox driver Luke Thomas (916) after a change in machinery. Richard Beere (254) has a new Harding Motorworld and son Jamie has inheirited the ex Todd Jones (286) Higman. Ex Hot Rod and Stock Rod Driver Glenn Sanders (734) has the ex Neil Truran Harding.....
So that's it for a while, more news when we get it
